Jacob A. Miller

Flight & Critical Care Transport Practitioner

Dr. Jacob Miller is a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and Nationally Registered Paramedic with a background in flight, critical care transport, and emergency nursing in addition to over 2 decades of EMS practice. Jacob received his Master of Science in acute care from the University of Maryland, a post-master certificate in advanced transport nursing from Case Western Reserve University, and his Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Cincinnati.

Jacob is a recognized leader in the EMS and Critical Care Transport industry, with current appointments including:

In recognition of his contributions to the field of EMS and critical care transport medicine, Jacob has earned Fellowship designation in the Academy of Emergency Nursing and Academy of Emergency Medical Services, and was recognized as one of ENA Connection’s “20 under 40” in 2023.

Jacob holds board certifications as a family nurse practitioner, emergency nurse practitioner, adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, acute care clinical nurse specialist, critical care nurse, critical care paramedic, certified flight nurse, and certified flight paramedic.

Jacob currently practices as a critical care nurse practitioner and a critical care transport clinician in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
